Junebug's Mushroom Grits



Here's another variation...

Hallelu-jah! Grits with Spicy Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grits

  • 4 cups water or chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup Junebug's Hallelu-jah! Sauce

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, bring water or broth to a boil. Slowly whisk in grits and reduce heat to low. Cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and sautee until pink, about 3-4 minutes.

  3. Stir in Junebug's Hallelu-jah! Sauce and cook for an additional minute.

  4. Serve shrimp over creamy grits, garnished with green onions if desired.
